Tailored and based on art historic and theoretical context. I do museum tours, talks, lectures for private groups and corporate companies. I have participated as speaker at conferences in Denmark and abroad.
Curatorial Vision
As an independent curator I am driven by powerful art. I believe in selecting works, which speak to body, mind and soul. I strive at bridging art and audience when primarily curating exhibitions and art events outside art institutions in venues such as a 1700s library (Classenske Bibliotek), Børsen (Previous Stock Exchange Building), a 1600s palais (Thottske Palæ) and a private villa. I am always focused on embrasing complexity and plural perspectives. Current issues and urgent topics are my drivers as well as selecting diverse and poignant artists. Trusted and aligned dialogue when collaborating with artists as well as with stakeholders is key to engagement and creativity - a capacity, which I believe is essential to curation and to drive a project forward encompassing all facets, from content to fundraising to succeed in creating a wholesome and impactful exhibitions and art projects.
